Giving Dogs Pills

I could have taken a picture of this, because people do love pictures, but oh well. The camera wasn't upstairs when I prepared Fido's hot dog pill packet tonight, and I was either going to write about this or fixing the chicken run door (which I just reinstalled in the dark).

I know you can buy pill stuff that is like clay and it encases the pill for your dog, but I prefer wrapping them in lunchmeat, cheese, or my all-time favorite, hot dogs. Slicing medallions of chilled, cooked hot dog and sideways pressing the pill right into the little coin shaped beefy mixture works beautifully, and I always have hot dogs on hand. It works great and he loves it. You can stuff several little pills into the dog if you need to (I guess you'd be stuffing BOTH dogs then ha ha ha).
