Final Sermon on Final Justice: The Return of Christ

I finished listening to this 3 part sermon series, Final Justice the Return of Christ, today while working out. If you are a believer, I think you will find it VERY encouraging. It is dreadful what unbelievers will experience, and that should encourage us to keep witnessing to those the Lord has put in our path to witness to. It is uplifting to know that God is sending Jesus back for those who have repented of their sins and have trusted Christ's payment for their sin. He sees what we endure and He will help us suffer for righteousness sake.

The reality of the mass carnage that will occur when the final judgment occurs, and the birds of the air being called to eat of the carrion...it is wild and terrifyingly powerful of God. Pastor MacArthur is talking about the largest bird migrations and how they occur over Israel....After the birds have eaten the remains of all the wicked the Lord has killed, it will take 7 months to bury the remaining bones and debris. What is shocking is that prior to this destruction of the wicked, the people will still not repent, but will want to hide and have the mountains fall on them! The lengths people will go to so they can remain in their sin, and not repent, are always shocking to me. This world is so wicked. Come, Lord Jesus, come!

Things we humans have in common: 

24 hrs in a day

7 days in a week

the need for nourishment

the need for sleep

the need for love- to give and receive it

the need for work 

the need for God

Some may argue the last point, but the Bible is clear that without being born-again, no one will spend eternity in Heaven, rather they will spend it eternally separated from God in Hell. (John 3:7) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, whatever a man sows, that he will reap.  (Gal 6:7)

In this life we all have the same number of hours in a day. We all choose how we will spend that time. If none of it is spent as God says, why would we think we will be with Him after death? If there is no desire to be with God now, why would it be expected to be with Him forever? He is holy, righteous and just, and He has standards in order to be in His presence. We must be washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ, figuratively, in our hearts which have admitted we are sinners, and we humbly seek His forgiveness. The evidence is that we then conform our lives to align with His standards as best we can and as the Holy Spirit enables us. A life marked by open sin is a life not submitting to God. (1 Cor 6:9-11)

Everyone can fit in time to read the Bible, pray, listen to a sermon, or listen to the Bible. The age of technology has made it very easy and accessible to find Truth. It has also offered innumerable distractions so we can amuse ourselves to death--literal spiritual death. 

Take time to listen to this sermon series. It will be worth it. Remember, the anti-Christ will perform a false resurrection and will use that to lead many who are unable to recognize the truth, astray. Religion, no matter how sincere, cannot and will not save anyone.

What is the Rapture?

Scripture tells us that God will remove the body of Christ before the final destruction of the world. We look at 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 as well as the way God saved Noah and his family in the Ark while destroying the world through the worldwide flood. Often God's wrath is poured out on all of mankind-the just and the unjust. However, when He has exercised final judgment such as with the destruction of Sodom and the worldwide flood, the righteous were removed.

Christ could come for His church at any time. There are no more prophesies that need to be fulfilled for Him to come, and I look very forward to His calling us to meet Him in the air.






16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thess 4:16-18






11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against [a]flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Eph 6:11-13

A nice topic to ponder during this Covid-19 pandemic. The food and supply shortages, power of the weather, out-of-the-blue Harvard University attack on homeschooling when the entire nation has been forced to finish school at home, Virginia rolling back numerous laws that protected the unborn, Virginia tightening gun control laws, and speed at which the nation shut down (though killing the unborn remained essential nearly everywhere) have reminded me that God is the One who is Sovereign. This present world is ruled by Satan, and it is wise to realize venues he utilizes. Overall, it is wisest to be right with God. If a global pandemic won't make you do what God says....well, this sermon or the series linked above is one you might care to listen to.

Only those truly in Christ will be raptured before the 7 year tribulation period begins. For 3.5 yrs the world will seem to prosper, but then the Abomination of Desolation will occur at the site of the Temple Mount and the anti-Christ will be fully revealed for who he is. Up until then people will think he is wonderful--the deception will swallow up nearly everyone. Then for 3.5 yrs it will be terrible and the only way people will be saved from eternal damnation will be through martyrdom. Does that sound like a plan that comes from a God who will let just anyone into eternal rest with Him?

Take a few minutes to read 1 Cor 6 for a few commands of the Lord; things that show where our hearts are and who our God is (us or Him).

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter." Matt 7:21

Pre Tribulation Rapture

Dear Beloved in Messiah, Satan loves to rob believers of their "blessed hope." "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." Titus 2:13 The believer's hope is the return of the Lord. He is coming for His bride, born again believers, prior to the 70th week of Daniel (chapter 9:24-27), what is commonly called the Tribulation Period. Believers in the pre-trib rapture, such as J.A.M. personnel, embrace this position because of what the Bible has to say on this subject. There has been another attack on the pre-trib rapture in he form of a DVD.  In a response to the claims of this video the following was penned:      "A new DVD documentary has just been released by Good Fight Ministries entitled,  'Left Behind or Led Astray?  Examining the Origins of the Secret Pre-Tribulation Rapture.' Good Fight  Ministries is run by post-tribulationist Joe Schimmel, the senior pastor  at Blessed Hope Chapel in Simi Valley, California. Schimmel’s documentary is endorsed by evangelist  Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron, star of the original 'Left Behind' movies. The following write-up appears on the back cover:  'Take a fascinating journey with us as we examine the shocking origins of the secret, pre-tribulation rapture doctrine. Featuring expert  commentary from David M. Bennett, Dr. Mark Patterson, Jacob Prasch, Joel Richardson, and Dave MacPherson.'       "The truth of the matter is that the 4½  hour film seriously distorts the historical evidence and is full of false accusations, unsubstantiated myths, and lies." Dave Hocking, founder and director of Hope for Today ministry, comments: "The anger and  hostility evidenced in the writings and messages of these men is not only revealing, but exposing them. The truth of I Thessalonians 4:13-­‐18, along with I Thessalonians 5:1-­‐9 is overwhelming in its support of pre-tribulationalism. It is time to stop the bitterness and to learn the grace and love of our Lord in speaking of Biblical truth. Our viewpoints do NOT authenticate Biblical truth – It is the BIBLE, the whole BIBLE, and nothing but the BIBLE – it is God’s infallible and inspired word!" Satan is using men like Schimmel to try to steal the joy of the pre-trib rapture from the believer. Don't let it happen!!! The content of the rebuttal will also help solidify your understanding that the belief in the pre-trib rapture is based on Scripture alone, and not any man's teachings. Unfortunately, the enemies of the pre-trib rapture all too often use discredited and erroneous historical arguments against the pre-trib rapture. She is an outstanding Christian lady. She loves our Lord and has done a lot of mission work with her husband. She came to hear me update the church she attends on recent events relating to Bible Prophecy, especially the Middle East, and she brought a list of questions. I didn’t write them down, but one question went something like this: “It seems like the Rapture is so close, what should we do?” After stumbling through an answer, I decided to try to compile a list of Bible teachings.

 

• Beware of false prophets because they will lead you astray. (Matthew 7:15)
• Be sure you are wearing a wedding garment. (Know you are saved and clothed in the righteousness of Jesus.) (Matthew 22:11-12)
• Know Bible prophecy so you can watch the signs. (Mark 14:37).
• Study the Bible, pray and fellowship with true believers so you can strengthen your faith and grow stronger not weaker. (Luke 18:8)
• Don’t be overcome by the cares of this world and be caught unawares. (Luke 21:34)
• Watch and pray that you will be accounted worthy to escape all the things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of man. (Luke 21:36)
• Cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. (Don’t live like the lost. Be ready to battle Satan.) (Romans 13:12)
• Walk honestly not in rioting, drunkenness, chambering, wantonness, strife and envying. (Romans 13:13)
• Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil its lusts. (Accept the authority of Jesus.) (Romans 13:14)
• Edify one another. (Strengthen and be strengthened by other believers.) (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
• Pray without ceasing (stay in touch with God). (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
• Abstain from every appearance of evil. (Avoid anything that hints of sin.) (1 Thessalonians 5:22)
• Be a Christian example for others (what you say, do, etc…) (1 Timothy 4:12)
• Study the Bible and pay attention to sound preaching and doctrine (1 Timothy 4:13).
• Meet with other believers and exhort each other. (Believers should meet to support and encourage each other.) (Hebrews 10:25)
• Rejoice, though, if need be, ye be in manifold temptations. (Rejoice even if God thinks a little chastisement is necessary.) (1 Peter 1:6)
• Be sober (level-headed), watch and pray. (1 Peter 4:7)
• Above all things have fervent charity (love) among you. (I Peter 4:8).
• Use hospitality one to another without grudging. (Help other believers and don’t grumble about it.) (1 Peter 4:9)
• Glorify God through Jesus in all things (1 Peter 4:11).
• Guard against Satan’s temptations to sin (1 Peter 5:8).
• Serve the Lord and don’t draw back. (Persevere, don’t give up.) (Revelation 2:3)
• Be an overcomer. (Believer in Jesus.) (1 John. 5:4; Revelation. 2:7, 11)
• Hold on to the name of Jesus and do not deny the faith (Revelation 2:13).
• Be faithful to the end (Revelation 2:26).
• Strengthen the areas where you are weak. (Examine yourself and overcome your  weaknesses.) (Revelation 3:2)
• Live by the words of Jesus. (Every knee will bow.) (Revelation 3:10)
• Most of us are rightly concerned about the salvation of others, but we really need to make a special effort to bring our own ways into compliance with the will of God before we die or the Rapture takes place—whichever comes first.

It’s the Target and Who Targets Them By Daymond Duck

In 1971, several high-level members of President Richard Nixon’s staff established the “Political Enemies Project” to target people who opposed the president. They created an “enemies list” and decided that the president’s “enemies” would be watched, intimidated, investigated by the IRS, denied government grants, denied government contracts, attacked with lawsuits, attacked politically and harmed in various other ways. The “Political Enemies Project” led to a burglary at the Watergate Hotel, wiretapped telephones, broken campaign finance laws and a major cover-up. The Democrats and the news media were outraged. President Nixon was eventually forced to resign. Three of his top-aides were sent to prison and most agree that it was one of the greatest political scandals in U.S. history.

Through the years, Congress, the Justice Department and the media have reacted strongly to the creation of an enemies list. Laws have been passed and court rulings have come down against governments and police forces profiling, targeting or taking action against people according to their race, gender, accent, dress, language, behavior patterns, religious beliefs, etc. Without question these practices are illegal.

But the Obama Administration sees nothing wrong with profiling, targeting, watching and taking action against people. Regardless of what the president’s people say, they have demonstrated that they are in favor of it as long as they get to decide who is to be profiled, targeted, watched, and intimidated, etc. For example, they are against profiling Islamic terrorists (they pretend that it’s a small group of people, workplace violence, etc.) and illegal aliens. But they are for profiling, targeting, watching and intimidating people if they are in a Christian, pro-Israel or pro-life group, or if they use words like “TEA Party,” “Patriot” or “Constitutional” in their name, or if they work for a conservative news organization such as FOX News.

Why is anyone surprised? In 2009, the Department of Homeland Security warned against the possibility of violence in the U.S. by citizens concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion, the loss of U.S. sovereignty and the like. They warned that end- times prophecy teachers (people with religious beliefs) could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons.

In 1992, Bill Clinton was running against George H. W. Bush for President of the United States when a member of Clinton’s staff, James Carville, coined the phrase, “It’s the economy stupid.” I’ve never liked that phrase because it demeans people, but it will help me make the point I want to make. It’s not the targeting or profiling of people that is unacceptable to the Obama Administration. It’s the target and who does the targeting, stupid.

For example, Muslims and illegal aliens are on the Obama Administration’s list of unacceptable targets and no action must be taken against them. But Christians, Jews, pro-lifers and conservative newsmen are on their list of acceptable targets and President Obama wants them silenced. Targeting people is unacceptable if conservatives such as President Nixon and some of his staff are doing it. But targeting people is acceptable if liberals such as President Obama and some of his staff are doing it.

There is a great deal of concern among many conservatives over where this is going. If the government is willing to target its political enemies and use the IRS to threaten them, silence them, drag them into court, deny them tax exempt status, etc., as it has been doing, will the government transform Obamacare into a weapon for the IRS? Will the government direct the IRS to threaten people with the denial of healthcare?

Will the government direct the IRS to delay the approval of surgeries the way it delayed the approval of tax-exempt status for those on President Obama’s enemies list? Will the government put reporters who write the truth on its enemies list and direct the IRS to deny or stall their healthcare? Will the death panels that Sarah Palin talked about actually exist and will the government use the IRS and Obamacare to eliminate the opposition and freedom of speech by delaying healthcare to those on his enemies list?

Is it just me or should I be concerned about the use of drones to kill American citizens on American soil? Attorney General Eric Holder said that President Obama can do that under extraordinary circumstances. Should I be concerned about all the bullets, guns and armored vehicles the Department of Homeland Security is buying? Should I be concerned that they want to take away the guns of returning troops, TEA Party members, conservatives, prophecy teachers, etc.? Should I be concerned about this all-out attack on “Stand Your Ground” laws? Should I be concerned that this sounds like some of the actions of the Antichrist whose satanic government will target people during the Tribulation period for their religious beliefs?

The right to buy and sell will be granted to those who take the mark, name or number of the Antichrist, but those who refuse to take the mark, name or number will be targeted, denied the right to buy and sell (can’t purchase healthcare, food, water, utilities, guns, bullets, etc.), and ultimately, they will die or be put to death. It will be too late. But the left and media (same thing) are going to regret their complicity and silence. Could it be that this IRS scandal is coming out of the pits of hell instead of Cincinnati and Washington, D.C.? Could it be that it is being orchestrated by a control-freak who is clearly a type of the Antichrist or perhaps worse (the real man of sin)?

In the Twinkling of An Eye Jesus Will Appear by Joseph Chambers

THE TWINKLE OF AN EYE IS 1/1100 (ONE-ELEVEN HUNDRETH) OF A SECOND AND THAT IS THE SUDDENESS OF THE RAPTURE. The Doctrine of Imminence is one of the New Testament’s most profound subjects. The idea plainly warns us of the necessity of living every moment with our heart set on His return. We must never just believe in the Rapture but we must live on the edge of this world with one foot a few inches above the ground. That’s spiritually speaking of the great hunger to see Jesus and to leave for our “Homeland” at any twinkle.

The Son of God filled His messages with the warning and hope of His return. He trained His Disciples to be so in love with Him as the Son of God that they would never love this world. The early church showed great evidence that they expected Him in their lifetime. Apostle Paul had to teach the Christians not to despair over those that died because the Lord would come for both the dead and the living. He stated, “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” (I Thessalonians 4:13-14) The sainted millions have watched for Him ever since He arose to ascend into the clouds!

Our Savior and Redeemer wanted us to understand how absolutely glorious His return would be. He also was very plain about being ready and having on the wedding garment. Luke recorded His powerful warning, “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.” (Luke 21:32-35) He spoke of the ‘Fig Tree Parable’ and stated that this was a mystery to announce the generation to witness His return to snatch out the Bride.

We live in a very privileged generation with powerful evidence that this is the time for His sudden appearance. When you couple the events in Israel with worldwide signs it takes utter spiritual blindness to miss the picture. No possibility of a One World Government has ever existed before. The world leaders are totally bent on uniting the world economy and government. America has been the last holdout to “One Worldism.” That is being ripped out of our control by the current powers in Washington.

Jesus warns us that this coming period of darkness would be like a snare. “For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.” (Luke 21:35) He also spoke of the sleeping church that would have to be aroused to meet Him and the great number that would be without oil and light. “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.” (Matthew 25:5-6) The church world refuses to believe that much of their membership is totally unprepared to go. It will only be after the trumpet that the multitudes will wake up to their drunkenness. The sorrow of that is too much to think about. The “cheap grace” preachers will be the most hated crowd left.

Please consider the necessity of total surrender to Jesus Christ. Listen to the Holy Ghost speaking by Apostle Paul. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” (II Peter 3:10-14) “Without spot and blameless” sounds very plain to me. Why should a believer dare to believe anything else?

The twinkling of an eye is a beautiful thought. It was Apostle Paul that used those words. “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (I Corinthians 15:51-52) There will be no announcement. This event will be so sudden as to be startling. The moment it occurs will finish the selection. It’s either I’m watching and ready to go, or I or you will be left.

Overview of What the Bible Says about the Antichrist

Revelation 19:19: The Antichrist will fight against Christ.
