In this sermon taken from the first verses in Matthew, the great reformed pastor, Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, explains the importance of celebrating the birth of Christ.
If you are unfamiliar with Dr. Lloyd-Jones, here is a brief biography of him. Iain Murray, his secretary for many years, wrote a terrific two-volume set on MLJ if you'd care to learn more. He was a brilliant man, and while I do not share all of the same theology as he, his sermons are among those I listen to with some frequency.
