Gun Laws Tightened by Governor Northam in VA During Virus
If you haven't read any George Orwell, now might be a good time. Animal Farm or Nineteen Eighty-Four come to mind as worthwhile. I find myself thinking of the book of Revelation and the peace of knowing what God says about how things will go in this wicked world ruled by Satan:
John 16:33 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
33 These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”
Ultimately, these laws do not matter. What matters is how Christians respond to this mess the world is in. Will we bow to the pressure to conform? Will we keep trusting the Lord and follow His will, wherever it leads us? Pray for the unborn, vote conservatively in line with God's word as much as possible, trust God for the results, but do the work we're called to do (of an evangelist, right?). First in our homes, then in the community.
