Grocery shopping sure has changed since the pandemic and quarantine. Our local grocery store (Giant) is the best place to shop even though they aren't being too crazy about restrictions. Yes, the shelves continue to be low and there are arrows on the floor...one door is permanently shut...but the workers are a comfort to see. Their friendly faces make me feel a little better amid what is now stressful, but used to be fun.
Aldi is a must for the prices, but it isn't as jolly as before. The crowd there isn't as pleasant.

Wegmans is the worst as far as making me feel like I'm in a war zone with disaster abounding. Today the line extended around the building to get in, so I by-passed it.
Weis had what was needed and that was great. I didn't like Weis before, but they have come through on flushable wipes twice now :).
Suffice to say, sometimes I feel emotional during and after the store. I miss my community being the way it was and hope we can return safely to that, soon. I so appreciate the workers and store managers doing all they have and can to keep our community stocked with supplies. Especially Giant, they are my heart ;).
