Judging Others: The Verse Pagans Love to Quote

How often do we hear someone say, "I don't judge, but..." or "We're not supposed to judge...". Typically after that there is a slew of critical statements made, but that is beside the point. The point is, it is not OK how many Christians (or so-called Christians) misunderstand what the Bible actually says about judging others.


Many Christians get their theology from the world, particularly those who are not consistently in church. Beware of getting your theology from a lukewarm Christian, friends. Always check the Bible and talk to mature believers, your pastor, or look up sermons by trusted preachers to understand what God has to say. We are to deal rightly with His word and who He is; we should not misrepresent Him. If we're believers, we have a responsibility to know God and make Him known...we can't know Him if we don't actually sit under solid teaching regularly and read His word regularly. (Heb 10:24-25)
