After more than 3 years the Buckley Reunification is complete. It isn't something I have continued to write about since Juan has been home for a while now, but the legal proceedings are finally over. The family can begin to really heal.
Juan was gone for nearly 3 years but our efforts did not begin until he had been gone for several months as we trusted that the obvious mistakes made by DSS would be corrected. The Lord led us to take action once it was clear that the tide was not going in the family's favor, much to our shock. It is hard to fathom all that transpired during these years; it seems surreal.
