Old Dogs

They might be blind and require you to yell for them to hear you, but try to sneak a pill into a cheese they don't like, and forget it. Once they know there is a pill inside, all meat is suspect and while you walk away thinking "Victory!", you come back to find a bitten-into pill with the contents having leaked out. Our dog is old, but he is so smart still. "Hide the pill" can become quite a feat. As I write, there is probably one left in a bowl that had been filled with tons of yummy treats intended to hide it.
