Today's Sayings

My college kids continually share the latest phrases that are "in", and it is amazing how fast what's "in" becomes "out". Thankfully, I've not committed most of these phrases to memory because most are ridiculous. 

When asking one of my kids about a particular friend to see if there was any chance of dating said friend,  this is what I was told. "You know what they say, Mom: the odds are good but the goods are odd." 

Didn't know they were saying that, but it's catchy. 😉
