Lying, What is it Really?

Growing up in a home where honesty was a fluid concept, as a born again Christian, I see the damaging results. Too often, lying is masked as...

Our Idols

What bothers us about others, is often that they are kicking our idols.

Take the conflict you are in with someone and ask what it is that is making you angry or hurt, to the point you can't get past it. Ask God to how you how you are like that. Is someone not making you feel important enough? Is the problem that you are making the situation all about yourself so that you have elevated your importance beyond what you should? Are people not grateful for you and in turn, have you not been grateful enough?

Have we let idols slowly ruin a relationship?

Have we let this make us bitter?

A mark of a true Christian is that sin is accepted and seen. We do not turn on those who shed light on our sin, making them our enemy when in fact, they are loving us the most by being straight-forward with us.

There is a way that seems right to a man and it's end is death. Go God's way.
