Reagan Tribute

This shows how far our nation has fallen in recent years. I remember my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. B, telling us to vote when we were old enough. She said it over and over; what a privilege it was to turn 18 and vote. Back then it wasn't rare for a public school teacher to be a conservative...Mrs. B loved Ronald Reagan and told us so. It wasn't until I was much older that this stern woman made sense to me. She had high standards for us, no doubt she could see how many of us needed a firmer hand than we were getting at home, and she took her role to instill good values seriously.

  1. Yes, back when it WAS NOT politically INCORRECT to express your opinion or point of view. We need to remain in prayer for our land - it is a very sad day in the US as it also is in many parts of the nation. Lord, Jesus - save us from our evil ways..

  2. I think to other nations, particularly Jerusalem...and the freedom we've trampled here in the USA. God has been so much more merciful than we deserve here.

I appreciate your taking time to comment and agree with your sentiments. I think the window of opportunity is closing for us to freely proclaim the saving gospel of Christ, we need to pray for opportunities and not buy in to the lies so many current 'Christian' leaders promote of just 'living' the gospel. People need words and Reagan knew that, thankfully.

    God bless you~
