Seven Steps to Spiritual Stability

When free time is available, we often want to relax...but does that really build us up as we need? Sometimes it does, but sometimes the time...

School Decision Time Already

Here we are staring in to February, when it is time to register for Classical Conversations and our online school. Next year, we are using two different online schools, plus Mom and Dad, to teach our oldest. For our middle student, it's CC and one online school, then Mom. For the youngest, CC and Mom, unless he continues with Chinese. If he does, that involves an in person, live class and possibly another day out of the house. But, it will be right down the street from me so won't involve running everyone around.

I've debated heavily on a local co-op type situation for science and possibly math, but am hesitant to be out of the house that often. We have always been really effective if we can all be home most days until the afternoon. It is tough to balance the school week with academics, ministry, and social time. One reason I'm glad for how we're doing school, having opted to not do certain other programs, is that we'll still have time to do ministry together as a family. I hope our schedule allows that for a long time...

Tomorrow is CC and I'm a tutor, so I'd better get to bed. Sure was hoping for a blizzard!
