Hunting is Bad but Wasting Food is Acceptable?

Here is something interesting to me, and by interesting I might mean appalling.

There are people against hunting. Hunting, which actually is proven to help herds be stronger and healthier, feeds people, and makes our road ways safer for the only beings created in the image of God, is looked at as a negative by those who feel their view is superior to those who would dare kill an animal.

An animal which the hunter will eat. Sometimes the hunter even uses other parts of animal they kill like antlers for their dog to keep its teeth clean, and the hide for various uses like a rug or decoration.

I have to openly wonder, are these anti-hunting advocates some of the same people who throw away and waste tons of food each year, showing no gratitude for what God has provided? Wasting money, and adding to the 40% food waste in America each year, surely can't put someone above another person who uses animals exactly as God intended.

Read up on food waste if you have to in order to realize wasting food is like setting your money, another thing to be grateful for, on fire.

Don't waste food. Don't let your kids waste food. It is the job of parents to demonstrate gratitude and teach it to their offspring.
